Jenekwa is a native of Burnt Corn, Alabama. She is an alumna of the University of Alabama at Birmingham and is now a 2018 Juris Doctor Candidate at Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, FL. Jenekwa is beyond proud of the community service and awareness of WeRGreat and would like to personally thank everyone for their continued support.
Growing up, Jenekwa always seemed to stray away from the right path and found herself being the stereotypical troubled teen. It is always easy for her to relate to troubled teens because SHE HAS BEEN THERE and has found it to be more effective for teens to comprehend the reality of their consequences when hearing it from someone other than parents and teachers. Jenekwa is aware where going down the wrong path will lead and knows how easy it is to be taken off your path and away from your purpose.
"I thank God that I found him and my purpose. Now it is time for me to help others find their purpose."
Along with being a troubled teen, her best friend of 15 years was molested as a child. Being so young she felt as if she didn't have a voice and there was nothing she could do to help her. Jenekwa felt completely helpless in the situation.
"Now that I am older I have come to realize that no matter how old you are, YOU HAVE A VOICE. I can't change what happened in the past but I can try to make a difference in the future."
WeRGreat is here to help raise self awareness within our African American community. Everyone has GREATNESS within themselves. We R Great is dedicated to help you find your light so that it will shine among man and they will know that...
